Office Manager
September 2006 marked the beginning of my professional journey with JB Marks when I joined as an Administrator. Throughout the years, I’ve had the honor of shouldering increasing responsibilities, climbing the ranks to Senior Administrator in 2011, and eventually assuming the role of Office Manager in 2016. I continue to hold this position with pride today.
My day-to-day responsibilities involve frequent interactions with students, parents, as well as various universities and colleges. Responsible for financial transactions, I meticulously manage payments and promptly furnish proof of payments to educational institutions. Despite the inevitable challenges that arise, even on weekends, the sense of fulfillment gained from assisting students, members, and parents and witnessing positive outcomes far outweighs any obstacles encountered.
As a mother, some students have sought solace in confiding their diverse life challenges in me. Offering a sympathetic ear, my aim is to provide unwavering support. Working at JB Marks has presented me with a profound learning experience, affording insights into life’s intricacies and instilling in me a positive outlook. It has underscored the value of refraining from passing judgment, given the unpredictable nature of life’s course.
While I harbor the wish to continue contributing in this capacity for many more years, the reality of approaching retirement age cannot be overlooked. This realization serves as a poignant reminder of life’s transient nature. Nonetheless, I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to have positively impacted the lives of students and members. I firmly believe that while people may forget what you did, they will always remember how you made them feel.
